The Binding Terms

These terms constitute a legal agreement. Use of this site indicates your acceptance. If you disagree, please do not use crelino.world.

Realism Anchor: Client Scenario

A startup founder evaluating Crelino for a brand refresh. They need to understand intellectual property ownership before sharing their new logo concepts. This section sets clear boundaries.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Accessing any page of crelino.world, including the contact form, constitutes full acceptance of these terms. For service agreements, a separate contract signed by both parties will govern the specific project.

2. Intellectual Property & Content

All visual assets, code, and written content on this site are the property of Crelino Studio. For client projects, ownership of final deliverables transfers upon final payment, subject to the signed project contract. Drafts, concepts, and source files remain the property of Crelino unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

3. Privacy & Data Handling

We collect contact information solely for project inquiries. This data is not sold or shared. For detailed data practices, refer to our Privacy Policy. Our Cookie Policy explains how we use tracking technologies.

4. Service Inquiries & Estimates

Form submissions on this site generate an email to our team. This is not a formal estimate or commitment. All projects require a signed contract and 50% deposit to commence. Standard project timelines range from 8 to 12 weeks, dependent on scope and client feedback velocity.

5. Limitation of Liability

Crelino Studio provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our services. The total liability shall not exceed the value of the project contract in question.

How We Think About Terms

We view terms not as legalese, but as the foundation for a successful partnership. This framework reflects our operational reality and respect for our clients' needs.

Decision Framework Diagram
Constraint

Transparency Over Complexity

We avoid hidden clauses or automatic renewals. Every term is explained in plain language. We believe understanding precedes trust. If a term is confusing, we revise it.

Trade-off

Flexibility vs. Protection

We offer flexible project structures but maintain clear boundaries on IP and scope to protect both parties from scope creep and misunderstandings. This protects our team's time and your budget.

Decision Criteria

What Changes Our Mind

  • • A client request for work beyond the signed scope (triggers change order process).
  • • Need for non-standard software licenses (costs must be covered by project budget).
  • • A request to sign a conflicting vendor agreement (we require clarification on precedence).

These terms are not an obstacle—they are the blueprint for a clear, professional relationship. We believe that clarity at the start prevents friction later, allowing our shared focus to remain on creating meaningful work.

Before You Proceed

A quick checklist for a smooth engagement with Crelino Studio.

01

Clarify Your Brief

Have a clear idea of your goals, budget, and timeline. We work best with informed partners.

02

Review the Scope

We provide detailed proposals. Read them. Ask questions. Ensure the scope matches your needs.

03

Understand Timelines

Our 8–12 week timeline depends on feedback speed. Plan your internal review process.

04

Check Deliverables

Know what you own after payment. Ask about source files and final formats before signing.

05

Plan Your Feedback

We build on clear, consolidated feedback. Multiple, scattered rounds slow progress.

06

Set Communication

Primary contact points streamline work. We schedule regular syncs to avoid email threads.

Critical Provisions Explained

Some clauses deserve special attention. Here’s the practical meaning behind our key terms.

i Project Termination

Either party may terminate a contract with 30 days written notice. Work completed to date is invoiced, paid, and delivered. This protects you from paying for work you no longer need, and protects our team from uncompensated effort.

i Post-Project Support

30 days of free bug-fixing support are included with every project launch. After that, we offer maintenance retainers. This covers standard CMS updates, security patches, and minor styling tweaks—not new features or redesigns.

i Dispute Resolution

We strongly prefer mediation in Bogotá, Colombia, before any legal action. This is faster, less expensive, and preserves the relationship more effectively than litigation. Our primary governing law is Colombian.

Signing Document

Field Note: Studio Practice

We send our contracts via DocuSign for efficiency and record-keeping. All countersigned documents are archived and accessible to both parties. Clarity in signing means clarity in execution.
